Ep 5. Parents Thursday

Beverly and Murray decide to have their own special parent's night where they spend quality time together without the kids. Meanwhile, Adam is left in charge at home but things don't go as smoothly as planned when Beverly and Murray get home earlier than expected. Additionally, Erica accidentally uses Barry's college recruiter as her own and finds herself in a sticky situation when she realizes she needs to impress him in order to get into college. Adam starts playing a game that his father introduced to him to beat the boredom that he's been feeling lately and quickly becomes addicted to the game. However, Beverly becomes worried about his obsession with the game and tells him to stop playing. But Adam is determined to play the game and he secretly invites his friends over after school to play with him. When Beverly comes home to find him playing the game, she takes drastic measures to get him to stop. Meanwhile, Murray tries to teach Erica and Barry a valuable lesson about responsibility when he leaves them in charge of the house but things don't go as planned. As the night progresses, chaos ensues and the family realizes that sometimes it's better just to spend time together. In the end, Beverly and Murray learn to appreciate the chaos that their family brings and Adam learns that sometimes it's important to put down the video games and spend time with family.
