In season 2 episode 17 of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, titled "Community Action", it's election time at the community center and Hilary is running for president. However, she soon realizes that no one is taking her campaign seriously and she's in danger of losing. Will and Carlton try to help her by organizing a dance party to raise funds, but when they are unable to secure a DJ, they turn to Uncle Phil, who agrees to be their last-minute replacement.
Meanwhile, Geoffrey is having problems of his own when he discovers that his girlfriend is cheating on him. He confides in Will and asks for his advice on how to handle the situation. Will, being the player that he is, suggests that Geoffrey get revenge by sleeping with another woman.
As the election draws near, Hilary becomes increasingly nervous about losing and believes that she needs to make a big speech to win over the voters. Will helps her prepare and gives her some pointers on how to sound confident and authentic. However, when the time comes for Hilary to make her speech, she freezes and forgets all of her lines. Will steps in and delivers an impromptu speech that wins over the crowd.
In the end, Hilary wins the election and Geoffrey realizes that revenge is not the answer and breaks up with his girlfriend. Will also learns a valuable lesson about using his player skills to manipulate people and promises to be more responsible in the future.
"Community Action" is a fun and entertaining episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air that deals with issues of friendship, loyalty, and self-improvement.
