The Freak Brothers is a new animated television show that just debuted its first season on Amazon Prime. The show follows the adventures of three stoner roommates - Freewheelin' Franklin, Fat Freddy, and Phineas - as they navigate through life in their San Francisco apartment.

In episode one, appropriately titled "Pilot," we are introduced to our three main characters and get a glimpse into their daily routine. Freewheelin' Franklin is a laid-back hippie who spends his days smoking weed and writing comics about his and his friends' misadventures. Fat Freddy is a bit more high-strung and tends to worry about their financial situation and how they'll afford their next bag of weed. Lastly, Phineas is the most eccentric of the group and loves to experiment with new, potent strains of marijuana.

The episode opens with the trio lounging around their apartment, smoking a joint and discussing their lack of funds. They decide to try and score some free weed by posing as medical patients at a local dispensary. However, their plan goes awry when they accidentally ingest a strain of marijuana that gives them intense hallucinations and lands them in the hospital.

The rest of the episode sees the group trying to piece together what happened the previous night and how they ended up in the hospital. They recount their adventures, which include losing their clothes, getting chased by a giant rabbit, and ending up in a tattoo parlor. As they try to make sense of it all, they realize that they may have accidentally taken a powerful hallucinogenic drug instead of marijuana.

Throughout the episode, the animation is bright and colorful, with a distinct psychedelic vibe that perfectly suits the show's theme. The humor is very tongue-in-cheek and leans heavily on stoner culture and counterculture references from the 60s and 70s. The voice acting is excellent, with Woody Harrelson voicing Freewheelin' Franklin, John Goodman as Fat Freddy, and Pete Davidson as Phineas.

Overall, "Pilot" sets the stage for what promises to be a hilarious and trippy series. Fans of shows like South Park and Family Guy will enjoy the irreverent humor and pop culture references.
