Ep 8. Legends of Today

Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs are on the hunt for a mythical object that could help defeat Zoom, the season's big bad. Their search leads them to a small town in Central City where they cross paths with two mysterious strangers - Hawkgirl and the immortal Carter Hall, aka Hawkman.

As they try to uncover the truth about these newcomers, they discover that they are part of a larger group of individuals with special powers known as "Metahumans." However, this group, known as "The Legends," has been scattered across time and it's up to Barry and the team to bring them together to stop a powerful immortal villain named Vandal Savage from initiating a cataclysmic event that will change the course of history.

With the help of Hawkgirl, Hawkman, and The Atom, Barry travels back in time to the 1970s to confront Vandal Savage. In the process, he learns more about his own abilities and how to use them strategically. However, he soon realizes that he may have to make a personal sacrifice in order to save the world.

Meanwhile, back in present day, Cisco struggles with his own newfound abilities and Captain Cold returns to Central City, forcing Barry to make a difficult decision about his fate.

Legends of Today marks the beginning of a two-part crossover event with fellow superhero show Arrow. This episode sets the stage for an epic team-up between the Green Arrow, The Flash, and many other DC Comics characters. With its compelling storyline, great action, and strong performances from its cast, this episode is sure to leave fans on the edge of their seats and excited for what's to come.
