Ep 4. The Fury of Firestorm

Barry and the team at S.T.A.R. Labs continue to face the aftermath of Ronnie Raymond's death while also struggling to find a way to stabilize Dr. Stein's condition. As they work on both problems, Caitlin and Cisco meet a new recruit who they believe could factor in as a new Firestorm.

However, the challenges they face are further compounded when a new villain emerges on the scene, nicknamed the Atom Smasher, and begins posing a serious threat to Central City. As Barry races to stop the villain, he finds an unexpected ally in Patty Spivot, a police officer with a deep interest in metahumans and a keen sense of determination. Elsewhere, Joe takes a personal interest in Iris's investigation of Harrison Wells, much to her dismay.

Throughout the episode, the themes of loss, redemption, and second chances are explored as various characters grapple with the consequences of their actions and choices. With the stakes higher than ever, Barry and his team must come together to face these challenges head-on and prove that they have what it takes to protect their city and the people they care about.
