- October 20, 2015
Season 2 of The Flash continues with another action-packed episode, titled "Family of Rogues." This episode opens with the introduction of two new characters: Lewis Snart (Michael Ironside) and his daughter, Lisa Snart (Peyton List). Both characters are criminals, the father being an expert safe-cracker and the daughter possessing a deadly cold gun. They both have a long history with Leonard Snart, aka Captain Cold, and are seeking his help in stealing a major item for their latest heist.
Meanwhile, Barry is dealing with some personal issues related to his family. He has never been close to his father, Henry Allen, who has just been released from prison. Barry is struggling with how to navigate this newfound relationship, which is made even more complicated when he discovers that his father is planning on leaving Central City for good. Even though Iris is trying to convince him to stay, Barry is left feeling lost and alone.
As if Barry's family drama wasn't enough, he is also facing a new meta-human criminal who is wreaking havoc in the city. This new villain, known as the Mist, has the ability to liquefy his body and become a deadly gas. He's on the hunt for Joe's partner, Singh, and it's up to Barry to stop him before he causes any harm.
Meanwhile, Lisa Snart is trying to enlist Captain Cold's help in stealing a power source for their latest heist. Cold is hesitant to get involved, knowing that it will put him and his team in danger. But when Lewis Snart threatens to harm Lisa if Cold doesn't help them, he has no choice but to go along with the plan.
As the team works to steal the power source, they discover that it is being guarded by none other than the Mist. Barry arrives just in time to help them take down the Mist and retrieve the power source. But when they return to the Snarts' hideout, things take a dangerous turn when Lewis Snart betrays them all. The team is taken hostage and it's up to Barry to save the day.
In the end, Barry is able to defeat Lewis Snart and rescue the team. He's also able to make a breakthrough with his father, who decides to stay in Central City a little while longer. The episode ends with Barry and his father sharing a touching moment, suggesting that their relationship may be headed in a positive direction.
Overall, "Family of Rogues" is a thrilling and action-packed episode that continues to explore the personal lives of the show's characters. With new villains and family drama, there's never a dull moment in Central City.
