Barry Allen is back as The Flash in the latest season of the hit series. Season 7 episode 1, titled "All's Well That Ends Wells," sees our favorite speedster and the rest of Team Flash dealing with the aftermath of the Mirrorverse and saying goodbye to Nash Wells.
As always, Central City is in danger, and The Flash must save the day. This time, he's going up against a new villain, a woman named Eva McCulloch, who has been stuck in the Mirrorverse for years and has emerged with new powers and a grudge against Iris West-Allen.
Along with the threat of Eva, The Flash must also deal with the loss of a beloved ally. Nash Wells, who was integral in the fight against the Monitor in the previous season, sacrificed himself to save his friends. The team must come to terms with Nash's death and deal with the emotional fallout, all while facing new challenges.
As always, the cast of The Flash brings their A-game. Grant Gustin shines as Barry Allen, balancing the lighter moments with the weightier ones. Candice Patton brings depth and heart to her portrayal of Iris, who is dealing with her own trauma after being trapped in the Mirrorverse for weeks. Carlos Valdes is as charming as ever as Cisco, and Danielle Panabaker delivers a powerful performance as Caitlin, who must confront her own past demons.
"All's Well That Ends Wells" is a promising start to the seventh season of The Flash, bringing both heart and action in equal measure. Fans of the show will not be disappointed, as the premiere sets up intriguing new storylines and puts our favorite characters through the wringer once again.
