Ep 65. The Chain Reaction

The Fixies is an animated series that follows a group of tiny creatures who live inside appliances and devices, fixing any issues that arise. He decides to take matters into his own hands and heads out to a nearby junkyard to search for parts. There, he meets a group of older boys who offer to help him fix his bike for a price.

Tom Thomas is hesitant but desperate, so he agrees. However, as the boys start working on the bike, they quickly realize that they don't have the right parts. They start scavenging for anything that might work, and before long, the bike is more of a Franken-bike than anything else.

Meanwhile, Simka has finally found a suitable chain but is struggling to get it back to the human world. She needs the help of her fellow Fixies to transport it safely, but they are all busy with their own tasks. Simka is determined, though, and decides to take matters into her own hands. She hitches a ride on a bird and heads towards Tom Thomas's house, hoping to arrive before it's too late.

As Simka flies through the air, Tom Thomas is having a tough time with his bike. The makeshift repairs done by the older boys have made the chain very loose, and it keeps coming off the gears. He's frustrated and upset that he ever got involved with them. However, just as he's about to give up, Simka arrives with the new chain.

Working together, Simka and Tom Thomas manage to fix the bike properly, and before long, it's as good as new. Tom Thomas is overjoyed and thanks Simka profusely for her help. He vows never to let anyone else work on his bike again and promises to take better care of it in the future.

The episode comes to a close with Tom Thomas out for another bike ride, enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. He reflects on the day's events and realizes the important lesson he learned: that it's always best to ask for help from someone you trust.
