In The Family Man season 1 episode 7 titled "Paradise," we see Srikant continuing to juggle his double life as a spy and family man, with the stakes getting even higher.
The episode starts out with Srikant attending a meeting with his boss and other intelligence officers about the threat of a terrorist attack in India. They receive information that the attack is imminent and could potentially result in mass destruction. As Srikant works to find clues and put the pieces together, he realizes that this attack is not only planned by an extremist group, but there might also be a mole within their own intelligence agency who is aiding them.
Meanwhile, Srikant's family is vacationing in a remote resort in the mountains. Although his wife Suchitra is initially happy to be away from the chaos of the city, she starts to feel uneasy and even more disconnected from Srikant. This is further exacerbated when she receives a forwarded email from her ex-boyfriend that she can't help but re-read, highlighting the cracks in their marriage.
As Srikant investigates the possibility of a mole, he works closely with another agent named Salman. Although they have a history of not getting along, they both bring different perspectives and insights to the case, making them a formidable team. As they dig deeper, they start to uncover more details about the extremist group, including the fact that they plan to use a radioactive substance in the attack.
Back at the resort, Srikant's daughter Dhriti meets a boy named Raji, who she starts to develop a crush on. However, when she learns that Raji is actually a girl, it throws her for a loop and she has trouble processing her feelings. While dealing with her own confusion, she also starts to question the strict gender roles and expectations placed on her.
As the episode progresses, tensions rise and the threat of the terrorist attack looms closer. Srikant and Salman race against the clock to find the mole and stop the attack before it's too late. Meanwhile, Suchitra has a chance encounter with a famous director at the resort and starts to realize that she wants something more out of her career and life.
