Ep 6. Reluctant Traveling Companion

The Fall Guy season 2 episode 6, titled "Reluctant Traveling Companion", follows stuntman Colt Seavers as he takes on a new job as a bodyguard for a wealthy and eccentric client, Preston. Preston is on the run from dangerous hitmen who are after him for unknown reasons.

Colt is initially reluctant to take on the job, as he is scheduled to perform in a major stunt competition and fears the job will interfere with his practice schedule. However, the allure of a big payday convinces him to take on the job.

As they flee the hitmen, Preston reveals to Colt that he is actually a diamond merchant who accidentally stumbled upon a valuable diamond mine in the African wilderness. He had been transporting the diamonds back to the United States when he was ambushed by the hitmen.

The pair continue their attempted escape, but are consistently pursued by the hitmen. Along the way, they meet a variety of characters including a group of hippies who rescue them from a desert ambush and an old prospector who shares his expert knowledge of the wilderness with them.

Despite Colt's impressive stunt driving skills, they are eventually caught by the hitmen. With the help of some unexpectedly helpful allies, Colt and Preston manage to turn the tables on their captors and escape unharmed.

The episode ends on a high note as Colt returns to his stunt competition, victorious and with a newfound respect for the importance of protecting others.
