Ep 4. The Rich Get Richer

The Fall Guy is an American action-adventure TV show that was aired from 1981 to 1986. The series comprised of five seasons with a total of 112 episodes.

To make the role believable, they hire an actress to play Colt’s fiancée and because of her charming personality, Colt soon finds himself falling for her.

As they delve further into the family's illegal activities, they discover that the money laundering scheme is far more extensive than they initially thought. The family, led by the patriarch Walter (Peter Haskell), controls a network of corrupt officials, lawyers, and judges, all of whom are determined to protect their enterprise and keep their business dealings a secret.

The further the team digs, the more dangerous things become. To make matters worse, a corrupt official manages to finger the trio as men with ulterior motives, thereby placing them at the top of Walter's hit list. As Walter becomes increasingly suspicious of Colt, everything comes to a head at a luxury restaurant.

In spectacular fashion, Colt and his team use their martial arts skills to take down the hired hit men and put an end to the money laundering ring. Through some suspenseful car chases on the backlot of Universal Studios, the team ensures that the corrupt officials behind the operation are brought to justice.

Overall, "The Rich Get Richer" is an exciting adventure in the Fall Guy universe, featuring all the classic elements that made the show so popular during its original run. The episode features Lee Majors’ stoic portrayal of Colt Seavers, and Doug Barr and Heather Thomas’ quirky performances as Howie and Jody, respectively. It also shows off some of the best stunts that the show is famous for.

The episode is not without its flaws, however - some of the dialogue can be a bit cheesy, and the plot twists are somewhat predictable. However, the show's zest for action and adventure make it a highly entertaining watch.
