In The Fairly Oddparents season 7 episode 12, the episode is split into two storylines.
The first storyline, titled "The Boss of Me," revolves around Timmy Turner's desire for independence. After getting tired of being told what to do by his parents, Timmy wishes for a fairy godparent that's tough and won't take any nonsense. Cosmo and Wanda then give him a new fairy named Big Daddy, who is more like a mafia boss than a traditional fairy. Timmy loves the power that having a tough fairy brings, but soon realizes that Big Daddy is a bit too intense. Big Daddy starts interfering in Timmy's personal life and forcing him to do dangerous and even illegal things. Timmy must find a way to take back control of his life and break free from Big Daddy's grasp.
The second storyline, called "He Poofs, He Scores!" centers around Cosmo's love of basketball. Cosmo is not a particularly talented player, and he's envious of Timmy's skills on the court. When Timmy wishes to be the best basketball player in the world, Cosmo decides to poof up his own ball and show Timmy up. However, Cosmo's wish has unintended consequences - his ball turns into an evil creature that is set on destroying the world. Now Timmy and Cosmo must team up to stop the basketball monster and save the planet.
Both storylines provide plenty of laughs and have a lot of heart. "The Boss of Me" explores themes of independence and the dangers of power, while "He Poofs, He Scores!" is a hilarious romp that pokes fun at sports movies cliches. Fans of The Fairly Oddparents are sure to enjoy this episode and its witty writing, zany characters, and imaginative plot twists.
