Ep 3. Static

At the beginning of Season 2, the crew of the Rocinante are scattered throughout the universe. While Holden and Naomi are on Tycho Station, trying to convince the OPA to join their cause, Amos and Alex are on Earth, waiting for the rest of the crew to return. Meanwhile, on Ganymede, Bobbie Draper is trying to figure out what caused the mysterious destruction of her team's unit during a battle with UN Marines.

In "Static," the third episode of Season 2, tension builds as Holden and Naomi try to navigate the complicated politics of the Belt. While Holden is convinced that they need the OPA's help in stopping the Protomolecule, Naomi is wary of involving the group in their mission. As they argue back and forth, tensions rise and it becomes clear that their relationship is being strained by the pressure of their situation.

Meanwhile, on Earth, Amos and Alex find themselves in a dangerous situation when they are framed for a crime they didn't commit. As they try to clear their names, they must navigate a corrupt justice system and a dangerous underworld.

Back on Ganymede, Bobbie continues to investigate the strange alien presence she encountered during the UN Marine battle. As she delves deeper into the mystery, she begins to realize that the Protomolecule may be more insidious and dangerous than anyone could have imagined.

Throughout the episode, the tension between the various characters continues to build, as they struggle to come to terms with the enormity of the threat they are facing. As the episode comes to a close, it becomes clear that the real danger may be closer than anyone realized, and that the crew of the Rocinante will need to rely on each other more than ever in order to survive.
