The Edge was a television show on Wild TV that aired from 1992-1993. This show was a unique combination of adventure, wildlife, and conservation. It provided viewers with an unprecedented look at the natural world and the amazing creatures that inhabit it. The Edge followed the adventures of host, Tom Brown Jr., as he explored some of the most remote and challenging wilderness areas in North America. Every episode was filmed in a new location, ranging from the Arctic tundra to the deserts of the American Southwest. Each location presented its set of challenges, and Tom and his team were always up for the adventure.

Tom Brown Jr. was an experienced tracker and wilderness survival instructor. He was also an accomplished author, having written several books on wilderness survival and tracking. His expertise was evident in every episode of The Edge, as he and his team navigated treacherous terrain and encountered some of the most elusive and dangerous animals in the world.

The Edge was more than just an adventure show. It was also a show about conservation and wildlife preservation. Each episode highlighted the importance of protecting our natural resources and the animals that rely on them. Tom and his team worked closely with wildlife biologists and conservationists to gain insight into the lives of the animals they encountered. This allowed them to showcase the beauty and complexity of these creatures and educate viewers on the importance of preserving their habitats.

One of the unique aspects of The Edge was its focus on tracking and survival skills. Tom and his team demonstrated the various techniques they use to navigate in the wilderness while also highlighting the signs and behaviors of animals. This gave viewers a deeper understanding of the natural world and an appreciation for the skills it takes to survive in it.

Another aspect of The Edge that set it apart from other adventure shows was its use of high-tech camera equipment. Tom and his team outfitted themselves with cameras that captured stunning footage of the animals they encountered. This allowed viewers to get up close and personal with some of the most beautiful and elusive animals in the world.

The Edge was an excellent show for anyone interested in the natural world. It combined adventure, conservation, and education in a way that was both entertaining and informative. Tom Brown Jr. and his team were knowledgeable and enthusiastic, making every episode a joy to watch.

Despite its short run, The Edge left a lasting impression on viewers. It showcased the beauty and complexity of the natural world and inspired many to take up the cause of wildlife preservation. To this day, it remains one of the most unique and groundbreaking shows of its kind.
