The Dukes of Hazzard season 6 episode 6, titled "Boss Behind Bars," features the Duke boys attempting to clear their names after Boss Hogg is framed for a robbery. The episode begins with Boss Hogg receiving a mysterious phone call and leaving his office in a hurry. Moments later, a robbery occurs at the Hazzard Bank, leaving Boss as the prime suspect.
Despite their rocky relationship with Boss, the Duke boys know he's innocent and set out to prove it. They start by investigating the scene of the crime and following a lead that takes them to a nearby diner. There, they encounter a shady character named Benny who they believe may be responsible for framing Boss.
Meanwhile, Boss is taken to jail and must rely on Rosco to help clear his name. Rosco, who's always been manipulated by Boss, struggles with his loyalty as he faces pressure from the Hazzard County Commissioner to make an example out of Boss and secure a conviction.
As the Dukes gather evidence to exonerate Boss, they find themselves in hot water with the commissioner and his cronies who are determined to keep Boss behind bars. They must use all their wit and ingenuity to uncover the real culprit and clear Boss's name before it's too late.
The episode is full of high-speed chases, humorous exchanges between the Duke boys and Rosco, and dramatic showdowns. The Dukes must work together to overcome the obstacles in their way and bring the true criminal to justice.
As always, "Boss Behind Bars" features the iconic General Lee car, spectacular stunts, and the classic southern charm that made The Dukes of Hazzard a beloved hit series.
