Ep 10. Deputy Dukes

The Dukes of Hazzard Season 1 Episode 10, "Deputy Dukes," follows cousins Bo and Luke Duke as they temporarily become Hazzard County Sheriff's deputies to catch a group of moonshiners.

When Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane is injured, Bo and Luke are sworn in as temporary deputies to keep the peace in Hazzard County. However, their temporary status doesn't stop them from pursuing their number one goal: taking down moonshiners who have been causing trouble in the area.

The Dukes come up with a plan to catch the moonshiners, using their famous car, the General Lee, to lure the criminals into a trap. Their plan, however, hits a few snags when the moonshiners catch on and decide to take matters into their own hands.

Meanwhile, Uncle Jesse and cousin Daisy work on another plan to catch the moonshiners. They pose as tourists and pretend to be interested in buying some of their moonshine. But when their negotiation turns sour, the moonshiners become suspicious and begin a high-speed chase.

As the moonshine operation appears to be getting out of hand, Bo and Luke come up with a risky plan to take down the leader of the moonshiners and retrieve the illegal liquor.

The episode contains a classic car chase scene, as well as the usual humor and antics of the Duke boys. Overall, "Deputy Dukes" offers a fun and action-packed episode of The Dukes of Hazzard.
