Max is a gentle giant with a sweet nature, but struggles with separation anxiety and destructive behavior when left alone. Will the perfect family come along and offer Max the stability and security he needs to overcome his fears?

Throughout the episode, we see the dedicated staff and volunteers at the shelter work tirelessly to ensure that each dog is matched with their ideal owner. This includes in-depth interviews with potential adopters, as well as training and behavioral assessments for the dogs. There are moments of heartbreak and frustration, as dogs are returned or adjustments need to be made.
