Rob's co-workers, Buddy and Sally, are tasked with organizing a Western-themed charity event for the office. Meanwhile, Rob is feeling homesick for New York while Laura is home sick herself. When three letters, addressed separately, arrived at their doorstep for Rob, Laura grows suspicious. The letters are all from the same woman, but are addressed differently. Laura starts to assume that Rob is carrying on an affair, particularly when he gets skittish about her taking the mail inside. Rob, however, reassures her that they are just letters of recommendation for a former employee. Laura remains skeptical, especially when the woman calls their home and Rob is evasive about the conversation. Things come to a head when Laura actually comes face-to-face with the woman, who turns out to be an older, respectable businesswoman. Meanwhile, Buddy and Sally's Western celebration ends up being a disaster, with the pair accidentally injuring themselves and making a big mess. In the end, everyone ends up learning some valuable lessons about trust and about navigating through the uncertain waters of life.
