Ep 8. Gateway to Hell - Lake Jackson, Texas

In the eighth episode of the eighth season of The Dead Files, entitled Gateway to Hell - Lake Jackson, Texas, paranormal investigator Steve DiSchiavi and psychic medium Amy Allan travel to a small town just outside of Houston, Texas, to investigate claims of demonic activity.

The episode begins with Steve and Amy meeting with the homeowners, a couple named Kyle and Donna who claim to have experienced a range of supernatural occurrences since moving into their home two years ago. They describe hearing unusual noises, feeling cold spots, and seeing apparitions, and Kyle tells the investigators that he is convinced that there is a demonic presence in the house.

Amy begins her investigation by conducting a walk-through of the property, during which she claims to sense strong negative energy concentrated in certain areas of the home. She also experiences a series of vivid visions and sensations, including feeling as though she is being choked and attacked by unseen forces.

After completing her walk-through, Amy meets with the homeowners to share her findings. She tells them that she believes there are multiple entities present in the home, including a powerful demon that is responsible for causing many of the disturbances they have experienced. She advises them that they should immediately seek help from a spiritual professional in order to rid their home of these entities.

Meanwhile, Steve conducts his own investigation into the history of the property and the surrounding area. He discovers that the land was once the site of a Native American burial ground and that there have been reports of unusual activity in the area for decades. He also learns that a series of unexplained deaths occurred in a nearby hotel in the 1930s, and that many believe the site to be cursed.

With their individual findings complete, Amy and Steve come together to share their conclusions with the homeowners. They warn Kyle and Donna that their home is a gateway to hell, and that they should immediately take steps to protect themselves. They also advise them to seek help from a shaman or other spiritual professional in order to perform a cleansing ritual on the property.

The episode concludes with Kyle and Donna taking the investigators' advice and contacting a shaman to perform a cleansing on their property. They report that since the ritual was performed, the activity in the home has stopped, and they feel a sense of peace and calm that they have not experienced since moving in.
