This dramatic show takes place in the rural suburb of Grand Rapids, Arizona. Conrad, the protagonist, is a recovering drug addict who can't seem to keep away from substances that harm his body and his relationships. When a young college co-ed comes to visit him due to a volunteer project at her college, she quickly bonds with him and feels that she must take care of him. Conrad tries his hardest to shut her out of his life, as he is too much pain to love again, but she perseveres. Sadness, humor, and raw human emotion drive this story until the very end.

A sadist tortured a girl to death by a mask. It's the third fatal rape case in the city this year and residents are scared. A constable of the District Crime Squad named Kent believes the murderer of this string of rape cases is the killer of his girlfriend, he wants to help in the investigation. The police can't find any connection between the three deceased girls, the modus operandi was also different in each case. When the fourth case occurred, the media pressured the government to stop the killer. A salesgirl named Coco found that all of the victims lived alone. Coco is the next target, and is successful in fleeing from him.
