Ep 12. Getting to Know You

Nonetheless, they try to find some common ground and agree to go to a movie together.

Meanwhile, Cliff, the family patriarch, is trying to fix Vanessa's broken bicycle. While he's working on it, he strikes up a conversation with a passerby who is interested in buying the bike. Although Vanessa is heartbroken at the thought of selling her beloved bicycle, Cliff convinces her that they can use the money to buy a newer, better bike.

As the day wears on, the Huxtables and Mrs. Hickson continue to try to get to know each other. They play a game of charades and share stories about their respective careers. However, they soon realize that they are just too different to be close friends. Mrs. Hickson politely declines Clair's offer to go see the movie together and the two part ways.

Overall, "Getting to Know You" is a charming episode that explores the idea of reaching out to new people and trying to form connections.
