The Code: Life With the Mariners is an exciting new television show produced by Onion TV that gives viewers an inside look at the daily lives of the players, coaches, and other personnel who help make up one of the most successful professional baseball teams in the United States: the Seattle Mariners. Featuring a diverse cast of characters as well as an array of breathtaking locations and settings, The Code offers an intimate and revealing portrait of what it takes to compete and succeed at the highest levels of America's favorite pastime.

At the heart of The Code is the team itself, a group of highly competitive athletes whose singular focus is on winning baseball games. Whether traveling to far-off cities for away games, practicing and training at home, or bonding off the field through shared experiences and friendships, the Mariners are shown to be a tight-knit group of individuals who are all invested in each other's success.

Throughout the show, viewers will be introduced to a variety of different players, each with their own unique strengths, weaknesses, and personalities. Whether it's star players like outfielder Mitch Haniger or pitcher Marco Gonzales, or up-and-comers like pitcher Logan Gilbert or infielder J.P. Crawford, the Mariners are a team made up of talented and dedicated athletes who are all striving to be the best they can be.

But The Code isn't just about the players on the field - it also delves deep into the lives and experiences of the coaches, trainers, and other support staff who help keep the team running like a well-oiled machine. From bullpen coach Brian DeLunas to strength and conditioning coach Trent Blank, viewers will get an up-close look at the day-to-day routines and challenges faced by these unsung heroes of the Mariners organization.

Beyond the players and support staff, The Code also introduces viewers to a variety of other key players in the Mariners' success. From the front office executives who help make strategic decisions about everything from player acquisitions to promotional events, to the team's dedicated fan base who show up to games rain or shine, the show offers a comprehensive and multifaceted look at what it means to be a part of the Mariners family.

Perhaps most compelling of all, though, is the way in which The Code reveals the intricate and highly strategic nature of the game itself. From the way pitchers choose their pitches based on the batter's tendencies and the game situation, to the way hitters analyze and refine their swings through endless repetitions and practice sessions, baseball is shown to be a sport that's as much about mental preparation and strategy as it is about raw physical talent.

No matter who you are or what your relationship is to baseball, there's something to love about The Code. With its engaging cast of characters, stunning visuals, and insider access to one of the most exciting and dynamic sports teams in the world, this is a show that's sure to captivate and inspire viewers of all ages and backgrounds. So if you're ready to step up to the plate and take a swing at something truly special, join us for The Code: Life With the Mariners, only on Onion TV.

The series begins with an in-depth look at head coach Graham Arnold's strategy leading into the Round 5 game game against Sydney FC, before looking back at the first two months of the competition, starting with the pre-season and promo day. We look at the Central Coast Mariners' state of the art facility in Tuggerah - the Centre of Excellence - and we join the team at training as Graham Arnold announces news of two new Socceroos among the Mariners' ranks. This extra responsibility brings additional PR work for a young Mat Ryan, however this doesn't affect his preparation for the crucial Round 8 clash with arch-rivals, the Brisbane Roar. Doing promos is part of life for a professional footballer, but the task is a little less strenuous when you spend the day fishing on the Hawkesbury with fans who've won a Facebook competition.
