Cleveland and Donna are in store for a surprise when Cleveland's estranged father Freight Train unexpectedly shows up at their doorstep. Tired of Freight Train's constant neglect, Cleveland decides to teach him a lesson by pretending to be homeless and sleeping on the streets with his father. Meanwhile, Cleveland Jr. is fascinated by the concept of magic after attending a birthday party with Rallo. He enlists the help of Roberta and Kendra to hone his skills, but his newfound obsession with magic causes him to neglect his schoolwork. As Cleveland and Freight Train struggle to survive on the streets, they encounter a group of homeless people who teach them the meaning of family and compassion. With the help of his friends, Cleveland Jr. ultimately learns that true magic is found in the bonds we share with the people we love.
