In an attempt to hide their mistake, they bury the animal but soon find out that it was a beloved pet of Stoolbend's local Native American community.
Feeling guilty, Cleveland and his friends try to make amends and make things right with the community but their efforts are met with resistance and hostility. They soon realize that they must earn the trust and respect of the Native people and learn about their culture to truly make amends. Along the way, they uncover a plot by a local businessman to build a freeway through the Native land and destroy their sacred burial grounds.
The episode is filled with laughs, heart, and social commentary on the treatment of Native American communities and their land rights. The characters are put in situations where they must navigate their ignorance and prejudices, leading to a deeper understanding and appreciation for Native culture.
