When Germany declared war on Poland in September 1939, more than 300,000 Jews fled eastward, among them thousands of children. It was a four-year odyssey in which these children, aged 2 to 15, went from Poland to Persia.
Description
The Children's Odyssey was a German television series that premiered on the ZDF channel in 2008. The show was a modern-day retelling of the classic Greek epic, The Odyssey, with a twist - the cast was entirely made up of children.
