Ep 2. Casey's first case

Casey is a young detective in her early twenties, fresh out of the Academy, eager to take on the world of crime fighting. In the second episode of The Casey Files, titled Casey's first case, Casey finds herself dealing with a case that hits close to home. A young woman has been found murdered in her apartment, and the victim happens to be Casey's neighbor.

Casey's first day on the job starts with a visit from her boss, Captain Jackson, who informs her of the murder and assigns her to work on the case. Casey is excited and nervous at the same time. She has been waiting for this moment for a long time, but she also knows that this is a serious matter.

With each clue they find, Casey becomes more determined to solve the case. She is constantly reminded of her neighbor, who was once alive and vibrant, but is now nothing more than a statistic. As the investigation progresses, Casey finds that the more she understands the victim, the closer she comes to finding her killer.

Casey and Dan have a number of suspects and each of them seems to have a viable motive for committing the murder. Casey's instincts tell her that one of the suspects is the killer, but she can't quite put her finger on who it is. With Dan's guidance, she begins to look at the evidence in a new light.

The killer is finally brought to justice, and Casey realizes that she has what it takes to be a detective. She may be young and inexperienced, but with the help of her partner and her instincts, she can make a difference in the world.

In the end, Casey reflects on what she's learned from her first case. She has learned that being a detective isn't just about solving crimes, but about doing justice and bringing closure to those who have lost loved ones.
