In The Carbonaro Effect season 7 episode 10, titled "Double Takes 3," Michael Carbonaro is back with his mind-bending tricks and pranks. The episode starts with Michael posing as a car wash attendant, startling customers as he magically transforms their cars before their very eyes. He also leaves them wondering how their paperwork went missing - only to hand it back right in front of them.
Next, Michael astonishes shoppers at a jewelry store when he seemingly makes their priceless gems vanish and reappear in impossible places, like inside a bottle of champagne or inside a roll of sushi. In one particularly impressive trick, Michael transforms an ordinary necklace into a stunning piece of art right before a woman's eyes.
Later, Michael poses as a psychic at a restaurant, using his keen sense of observation and a little bit of trickery to convince diners that he knows their deepest secrets and desires. He also uses his powers of persuasion to convince a group of skeptical men that they've actually been sitting at the wrong table for the entire meal.
In another segment, Michael sets up a fake art exhibit featuring a series of paintings that seem to change right before visitors' eyes. Some paintings transform into entirely new masterpieces, while others seem to come to life in unexpected ways. The reactions of the unsuspecting art patrons are priceless.
Throughout the episode, Michael showcases his incredible talent for misdirection and sleight of hand, leaving his victims - er, subjects - completely bewildered and amazed. Whether he's turning water into wine or conjuring up clothing out of thin air, Michael never fails to delight and surprise. "Double Takes 3" is yet another triumph for this talented magician and illusionist.
