The Brittas Empire season 3 episode 1, titled "The Trial," starts with the infamous leisure center administrator, Gordon Brittas, on trial after a major water leak caused extensive damage to the center, leaving it temporarily closed.
The episode begins with a flashback to the incident that caused the damage, where Brittas is seen inadvertently drilling a hole in a water pipe while carrying out one of his eccentric refurbishments. The resulting flood caused huge disruption to the center's services and led to it having to close.
Fast forward to the present day and with Brittas on trial, we see him representing himself in court, with all of his staff and colleagues in attendance as witnesses.
As the trial proceeds, it becomes apparent that things are not looking good for Brittas and it seems like he could be facing a lengthy prison sentence.
However, despite Brittas’ ongoing inability to get anything right, his staff and colleagues rally around him, determined to prove his innocence.
The episode is full of classic Brittas humor and energy, with plenty of slapstick moments and ridiculous scenarios, all the while the audience is left guessing till the very end whether Brittas will be found guilty or not.
Overall, The Brittas Empire season 3 episode 1, "The Trial," is a hilarious and entertaining episode, full of the wit and charm that makes the show a cult classic.
