In season 3 episode 15 of The Brady Bunch, titled "Big Little Man," the Brady family finds themselves dealing with the challenges of growing up.
The episode begins with Bobby feeling frustrated that he is the shortest member of the family, and he begins to act out by being extra aggressive and bossy towards his siblings. Meanwhile, Mike receives a promotion at work, which means he will be working longer hours and won't be able to spend as much time at home. This news is bittersweet for the Brady kids, as they are happy for their dad's success but sad that he won't be around as much.
The tension between Bobby and his siblings reaches a breaking point when he challenges Peter to a game of backyard basketball. Despite intimidation tactics from Bobby, Peter ends up winning the game, and Bobby has a tantrum. Carol and Mike step in to help the boys work through their issues, and they encourage Bobby to embrace his small size rather than letting it bring him down.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Brady kids are feeling neglected by their parents due to the increased workload for both Mike and Carol. Jan in particular feels like she is always in the shadow of her older sister, Marcia, and she decides to take matters into her own hands. She starts wearing a curly wig and adopting a sassy persona in an attempt to stand out.
Both Bobby and Jan eventually learn valuable lessons about the importance of self-confidence and acceptance. Bobby learns to appreciate his own unique strengths and abilities, while Jan realizes that she can shine without resorting to attention-seeking behavior. By the end of the episode, the Brady family has grown closer as they navigate these common struggles of growing up and maturing.
