Ep 16. Not Far from the Tree

Not far from the Tree is the sixteenth episode of the fourth season of The Bold Type. In this episode, Jane is faced with a scary decision to make about her health. After finding out that her mom and grandma both have the BRCA gene mutation, she's forced to consider whether or not to get tested herself. Meanwhile, Kat and Sutton are both dealing with their own relationship issues. Kat is trying to figure out how to navigate a long-distance relationship with Adena while Sutton is struggling to keep her marriage together after her husband's infidelity. But amidst all the personal drama, the ladies of Scarlet magazine are also busy trying to save their professional lives. With layoffs looming, they must band together and come up with a solution to keep the magazine afloat. As they strive to succeed in both their personal and professional lives, the women of Scarlet are a reminder that no matter what life may throw their way, they're strong enough to handle it.
