As the investigation deepens, Victoria and her sons Jarrod (Richard Long) and Nick (Peter Breck) must tread carefully, knowing that any misstep could lead to violence and bloodshed. But they can't give up on the case, not when they know there is a killer on the loose and justice must be served.
Meanwhile, Heath (Lee Majors) takes it upon himself to investigate a strange man who's been hanging around the ranch. He suspects that the man could be connected to the murder, but he can't get anyone to take him seriously.
As tensions continue to rise, the Barkleys must ultimately decide where their loyalties lie. Will they side with one family over the other, or will they stand up for what's right, even if it means putting themselves in danger?
