Ep 1. The Hofstadter Insufficiency

Leonard and Penny start a new chapter in their lives by moving in together, Sheldon makes them feel welcome by ridiculing Howard and Raj's recent escapades to a Goth-themed escape room. Meanwhile, Sheldon takes an interest in the intimate details of Amy's relationship with her lab partner. As an insufferable final-grader, Sheldon rushes to dissect the mundane goings-on of his friends' lives, reminding each of them why they may not miss him while he's in Texas. After getting an email from the head of his old department (Dr. Stephen Hawking), Sheldon realizes he must decide between staying in Pasadena with his friends or leaving to pursue his life's work.
