Sheldon and Penny are enjoying Chinese food at the apartment. Sheldon brings up the fact that he and Leonard need a fourth person to round out their team for the upcoming "Mystic Warlords of Ka'a" tournament. Penny suggests they invite her ex-boyfriend, Zack Johnson. Sheldon is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to let Zack join them.
Meanwhile, Howard and Raj are at the Cheesecake Factory when they run into Wil Wheaton, who invites them to a party he's throwing. Howard convinces Raj to go with him and they're surprised to find out it's a very small party with only a few people, including Wil's friends and his pet rabbit. Wil challenges Raj to a game of "Mystic Warlords of Ka'a" and Raj immediately accepts, eager to show off his skills.
Back at the apartment, Sheldon, Leonard, and Zack are playing "Mystic Warlords of Ka'a" when Penny joins them. She tries to give them some advice but they brush her off. Later, when they lose the game, they decide to blame Penny for distracting them. She tells them off for not taking her seriously and storms out.
At Wil's party, Raj and Wil are in the middle of their game when they get into an argument over the rules. Wil insists he's right and Raj storms out, frustrated. Howard tries to console him by telling him that he only lost because it's Wil's game and he knows all the tricks. This only makes Raj feel worse and he decides to challenge Wil to a rematch, but this time on his own turf.
The next day, Sheldon, Leonard, and Zack are still bickering over their loss when Raj challenges Wil to a game at the apartment. Wil accepts and brings his pet rabbit along with him, much to Sheldon's disgust. The game is intense and everyone is on edge, but Raj manages to win. Wil congratulates him and asks if he's interested in joining his "Mystic Warlords of Ka'a" team. Raj happily accepts.
As the episode ends, the guys are discussing their victory over Wil when Penny walks in. Sheldon apologizes for not taking her seriously and she forgives him. They invite her to join them for their next game and she accepts. The episode ends with the group sitting around the coffee table, ready to start another game of "Mystic Warlords of Ka'a."
