Jed and the rest of the Clampett family are back with another exciting episode of The Beverly Hillbillies. In season 2 episode 2, titled "Hair-Raising Holiday," the Clampett family decides to take a vacation to the beach for some much-needed relaxation.
As the family packs their bags and loads up the truck, Granny can't help but express her distaste for the idea of a beach vacation. She complains that the sand will get everywhere, and that she will be miserable without her rocking chair and moonshine. But Jed and the rest of the family are determined to have a good time, and they set off on their adventure to the coast.
Things start off rocky when the family arrives at their beach house rental, only to discover that it's not what they expected. The house is tiny, run-down, and infested with all kinds of creepy critters. The family is decidedly unimpressed, but they decide to make the best of it and start exploring their new surroundings. They learn how to surf and build sandcastles on the beach, and Ellie May even finds a new love interest in the form of a local beach bum.
But things take a turn for the worse when Granny discovers that her wigs have gone missing. She usually wears a different wig every day of the week, but now they're all gone. She suspects foul play and immediately starts investigating. She interrogates the family and deduces that someone must have stolen her beloved wigs.
As Granny's investigation continues, the family starts to suspect that she might be going a little bit crazy. She starts seeing suspicious characters lurking around every corner, and she accuses almost everyone she meets of stealing her wigs. Even the local sheriff is no match for Granny's sharp tongue and quick wit.
As the family tries to convince Granny to let go of her obsession with the missing wigs, they also have to deal with the various other mishaps and adventures that come with a beach vacation. There are run-ins with local wildlife, lost keys, and even a cooking mishap involving some accidentally spicy chili. But through it all, the Clampett family remains steadfast in their quest for relaxation and fun.
Will Granny ever find her missing wigs? Will the family survive their eventful beach vacation in one piece? You'll have to tune in to season 2 episode 2 of The Beverly Hillbillies, "Hair-Raising Holiday," to find out!
