Mister Rogers goes on a field trip to see and help prepare food for the giant pandas at the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. There's lots of excitement in the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, with an elaborate parade in honor of Ana Playpus's birthday. She'd rather celebrate more quietly with her friends, and she finally receives the birthday present from her parents she was hoping for -- a kitten to love and hug. Includes the song "There Are Many Ways To Say I Love You".
