Ep 2. Episode 2

The Beauty Inside follows the life of Han Se-gye, a celebrity who mysteriously transforms into a different person for a week each month. Episode 2 kicks off with Han Se-gye frantically searching for her assistant Kim Woo-mi as she needs her help to transform back to herself.

The episode takes a turn when Se-gye lands herself in jail. She tries to explain to the officers that she is a famous actress, but they don't believe her and charge her with trespassing. Meanwhile, Se-gye's ex-boyfriend Seo Do-jae, who also happens to be the owner of an airline company, is introduced to Woo-mi, who is hiding the truth from him out of fear of losing her job.

Seo Do-jae notices a drastic change in Se-gye's behavior after she transforms back to herself. He becomes curious and tries to uncover the mystery behind her transformations. He becomes even more intrigued by her when he sees a picture of her as a man. Do-jae then tries to learn more about Se-gye's life by visiting her mother, but she brushes him off, further adding to the intrigue.

As Se-gye tries to deal with her transformation, she receives an invitation to an event at a famous hotel. The invitation was sent by Do-jae, who is curious to see her transformation firsthand. At the event, Se-gye bumps into Do-jae and they end up dancing together. Se-gye is surprised to see that Do-jae is unable to recognize her as someone he had met before.

Se-gye's personal life becomes even more complicated when her ex-boyfriend Lee Hyeon-seok shows up unexpectedly. Hyeon-seok reveals that he has written a script for a movie and wants her to act in it. Hyeon-seok is initially hesitant, but Se-gye agrees to hear him out.

As the episode progresses, Woo-mi begins to feel guilty about hiding the truth from Do-jae. She confides in Se-gye and they both decide to reveal the truth to him. Do-jae is shocked to learn about Se-gye's condition but instead of being scared, he becomes even more intrigued.

The episode ends with Se-gye and Do-jae going on a walk together. Do-jae tries to convince Se-gye to act in a role for his airline company's advertisement. Se-gye initially tries to decline his offer, but eventually agrees after realizing that she can use it to her advantage and gather more information about Do-jae.
