Ep 1. Batgirl Begins (1)

The relationships between Batman, Robin, and Commissioner Gordon are explored in greater depth than ever before. We see how much these characters care about each other and how difficult it can be to balance the need to protect Gotham with the need to protect their personal lives.

But at the heart of the episode is Barbara’s transformation into Batgirl. We watch as she struggles to find her place in the world and come to terms with her own limitations.
