As the season of The Bachelor progresses, Peter Weber and the remaining contestants are starting to truly develop deeper connections with one another. This week, the stakes are higher than ever as the group travels to Costa Rica for some much-needed tropical relaxation.
The episode begins with a one-on-one date between Peter and his frontrunner, Madison. The date kicks off in a small plane, where the pair enjoy stunning views of the Costa Rican coastline. Once they land, they take part in a romantic horseback ride and picnic, reminiscing over their memories of each other thus far.
However, things take a serious turn as Madison opens up to Peter about her faith and how it's important to her that her future partner shares the same values. This conversation leads to both of them reflecting on the importance of trusting the process and being true to themselves. Their connection deepens even further as they share a steamy hot tub makeout session under the stars.
The next day, the group date takes place, and the ladies are thrilled to spend a day exploring Costa Rica's breathtaking waterfalls and hiking trails with Peter. But the fun and games come to a halt when they're hit with an unexpected surprise: a pop quiz on their knowledge of Peter's personal life! The ladies struggle to answer some of the unexpected questions on everything from his job to his passions, leading to some heated arguments and hurt feelings.
Meanwhile, some of the women begin to worry about their connections with Peter and turn to each other for support. Kelsey opens up to Natasha and Kiarra about her struggle to open up to Peter and tell him how she's feeling.
The episode culminates in a dramatic cocktail party, where tensions are high and emotions are running wild. Sydney, still reeling from the group date, decides to take matters into her own hands and confronts Peter about his intentions and whether he's taking their relationship seriously enough. Meanwhile, Kelsey finally finds the courage to share her true feelings with Peter and the two have a heartfelt conversation.
As the night goes on, it becomes clear that not everyone will make it through to the next week. The rose ceremony is one of the most emotional yet, as Peter is forced to say goodbye to one of the women he's formed a strong bond with. With each passing week, the stakes get higher and the competition more intense, leaving us on the edge of our seats to see what will happen next on this season of The Bachelor.
