Emma Peel and John Steed are back in action in The Avengers season 2 episode 19, titled "The Golden Eggs". The episode begins with a wealthy businessman named Jerome K. Jerome (played by David Langton) seeking the help of Peel and Steed. Jerome's prized goose, which lays solid gold eggs, has been stolen, and he believes the culprit is a notorious international spy known only as The Eagle.

Her colleague, Tara King (played by Linda Thorson), tries to convince her to stay the course, but Peel's doubts only grow stronger as the stakes get higher. In the end, Peel must make a decision about where her true loyalties lie.
"The Golden Eggs" is a thrilling episode filled with action, intrigue, and humor. The dynamic between Emma Peel and John Steed is as charming and witty as ever, and the guest actors offer memorable performances as the diabolical spies.
