The Angry Beavers season 3 episode 13 is titled "Stare and Stare Alike/I Am Not An Animal." In "Stare and Stare Alike," Norbert and Daggett become obsessed with staring contests. They challenge each other to see who can hold a stare the longest, but their competition quickly spirals out of control as they begin to use intense methods to try and break each other's focus. The two brothers become so engrossed in the game that they neglect their usual activities, such as eating and sleeping. Eventually, they realize that their obsession has taken things too far and they call a truce, vowing to never let a silly competition come between their friendship again.
In "I Am Not An Animal," Norbert and Daggett accidentally stumble upon a group of beavers who believe that humans are extinct and that beavers are the top of the food chain. The naive beavers quickly accept Norbert and Daggett as their new leaders, thinking that they are fellow beavers who have simply lost their tails. Norbert and Daggett find themselves in a difficult position as they try to protect the group from predators like mountain lions and bears, all while keeping up the charade that they are beavers. However, things get even more complicated when the beavers start to demand that Norbert and Daggett use their "superior intelligence" to start building more elaborate dams and structures. The two brothers realize that they need to come clean and reveal their true identities before things get completely out of hand.
Overall, "Stare and Stare Alike/I Am Not An Animal" showcases the zany antics and unexpected situations that the Beaver brothers find themselves in on a regular basis. From becoming obsessed with staring contests, to masquerading as beavers in order to protect a group of naive animals, Norbert and Daggett are always up for a good adventure. Fans of the show will appreciate the usual blend of humor and heart that makes The Angry Beavers such a classic animated series.
