In The Angry Beavers season 1 episode 2, titled "A Dam Too Far / Long in the Teeth," Daggett and Norbert attempt to build their own dam, but their plans quickly spiral out of control. The brothers argue over every detail, from the design of the dam to who should do the work. As they start construction, they realize that they have underestimated the amount of work required and are soon overwhelmed by the task at hand. To make matters worse, their bickering and lack of cooperation make the situation even more difficult.
Meanwhile, Norbert is worried about his aging teeth and becomes obsessed with keeping them healthy. He begins a strict dental hygiene regimen, which includes brushing his teeth every few minutes and flossing constantly. Daggett finds Norbert's behavior odd and tries to convince him to relax and enjoy life, but Norbert is convinced that his teeth are his most valuable asset.
As the dam construction project continues, Daggett and Norbert realize that they need to work together if they want to finish the job. They put their differences aside and focus on the task at hand, using their individual strengths to make the dam construction a success. However, their toothbrush and toothpaste obsession becomes a problem when they accidentally use all the toothpaste to cement the final brick in place.
In the end, the brothers successfully build their dam, but their teeth are sore and in need of serious dental attention. Despite their dental mishaps, Daggett and Norbert are happy with their accomplishment and proud of their newfound teamwork.
