Ep 24. Aunt Bee's Medicine Man

When Aunt Bee comes down with a cold and refuses to see a doctor, she turns to the snake oil salesman who is visiting Mayberry. Andy and Barney are suspicious of the man's claims, but Aunt Bee is convinced by his smooth talking and decides to buy his miracle elixir. As the salesman continues to sell his wares to the unsuspecting citizens of Mayberry, Andy and Barney become more and more concerned about the man's intentions. When they discover that his elixir is nothing more than colored sugar water, they set out to expose him. Meanwhile, Aunt Bee's condition gets worse, and she becomes convinced that the elixir is the only thing keeping her alive. As she starts to hallucinate, Andy and Barney race against time to bring the snake oil salesman to justice and save Aunt Bee's life. Will they be able to stop the con artist before it's too late?
