Ep 5. The Phone

Gumball and Darwin's obsession with their phones is the topic of this episode. After realizing that they have become overly dependent on their technology, Gumball and Darwin decide to go phone-free for an entire day. This proves to be a much greater challenge than they initially thought, as they find themselves struggling to function without the constant distractions and conveniences provided by their devices. Meanwhile, their classmates are dealing with their own phone-related issues, including Carmen's addiction to social media and Tobias's constant need to take selfies. As the day progresses, Gumball and Darwin begin to see the negative effects their phone usage has had on their relationships and overall well-being. However, breaking the habit proves to be much harder than they anticipated, and they soon find themselves making excuses to sneak back to their phones.
