The Amazing World of Gumball season 1 episode 16: The Kiss

In this episode, Gumball and Darwin try their best to help Anais avoid kissing her crush, a young boy named Jamie, at school. Anais has a crush on Jamie and wants to kiss him, but Gumball and Darwin believe that kissing is gross and they try to come up with ways to help Anais avoid Jamie.

One of the ways they try to help is by teaching Anais how to fight, so she can defend herself against Jamie's advances. They show her how to punch and kick, but Anais is not good at fighting and ends up hurting herself.

Next, they suggest that Anais try to make Jamie jealous by pretending to have a boyfriend. They convince Darwin to dress up as her boyfriend and go to school with her. The plan initially seems to work, as Jamie becomes jealous and tries to win Anais back. However, things quickly get out of hand when Darwin starts to believe that he is actually Anais' boyfriend.

Finally, Gumball and Darwin come up with a plan to make Jamie think that Anais is sick and contagious, so he will stay away from her. They convince Anais to pretend to be sick by using ketchup and making fake vomit. When Jamie sees Anais looking sick, he runs away in fear.

Throughout the episode, there are several comedic moments and jokes, including a scene where Darwin dresses up in a ridiculous disguise and tries to convince Jamie that he is a foreign prince. There is also a parody of Rocky where Gumball tries to train Anais to be a fighter.

In the end, Anais realizes that she doesn't need to kiss Jamie to be happy and decides to focus on being herself. Gumball and Darwin learn a valuable lesson about letting people make their own decisions and not judging others based on their own fears and biases. The episode ends with the three siblings happily playing together in the backyard.
