Clark Kent somehow finds himself on the wrong side of the law in this episode titled "Clark Kent, Outlaw." After witnessing a robbery and being mistaken for one of the criminals by the police, Clark is arrested and thrown in jail. He knows he can clear his name if he could only reveal his true identity as Superman, but that would put Lois and others in danger.
In order to get out of jail and clear his name, Clark hatches a plan to break out. With the help of Jimmy Olsen and a sympathetic prison guard, Clark engineers his escape and goes on the run. But even on the outside, he finds that being a wanted man isn't as easy as he thought it would be.
As Clark tries to evade the police, he begins to piece together the details of the robbery he witnessed. He suspects that the real criminals are still at large and are planning another heist. With his journalistic instincts kicking in, Clark decides to go undercover to investigate.
Disguised as a criminal, Clark infiltrates the gang and soon uncovers their next target: a jewelry store. But before he can stop the robbery, Clark is apprehended by the police once again. This time, he's brought before a judge and given a harsh sentence for his crimes.
As Clark languishes in jail, his friends and colleagues at the Daily Planet work to clear his name. They soon discover evidence that proves Clark's innocence and point the finger at the real robbers. With their help, Clark is exonerated and released from jail.
In the end, Clark realizes that he should trust his instincts and always strive to do the right thing, even when it puts him in danger. He knows that being Superman means taking risks, but he also knows that he can count on his friends to have his back. Though this adventure has left him shaken, Clark emerges from it stronger and more determined than ever before.
