Ep 29. Robotnik, Jr.

Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog season 1 episode 29 "Robotnik, Jr." follows Sonic and Tails as they plot to steal a Power Gem from Dr. Robotnik's floating fortress. However, their plans are complicated when they encounter Robotnik's son, Snively, who is trying to prove himself to his father by capturing Sonic.

Snively confronts his father, demanding to be recognized as a worthy villain, but Robotnik dismisses his son's efforts and orders his guards to take Sonic and Snively captive.

In the end, Sonic and Snively are able to escape with the Power Gem, but not before Snively realizes that his father will never truly accept him for who he is. The episode ends with Sonic and Tails escaping from the fortress, while Snively stays behind to confront his father once again.
