Ep 2. The Glob / Chicken Feed

The Adventures of Gumby: 1960's Series was a stop-motion animated children's show that aired from 1956 to 1969. Season 1 episode 2 was titled The Glob / Chicken Feed and aired in 1957.

In The Glob, Gumby and his friend Pokey encounter a strange, jelly-like creature that falls from the sky. The creature, which they name The Glob, can change its shape and size at will and seems friendly enough, but when it begins to absorb everything in its path, including buildings and people, Gumby and Pokey must find a way to stop it before it destroys everything in its path.

In Chicken Feed, Gumby and Pokey come across a group of chickens on their farm who are upset because they are not allowed to eat the same food as the pigs and cows. Gumby decides to help the chickens and create a special recipe for their feed that will give them all the nutrients they need to be healthy and happy.

Throughout both episodes, Gumby and Pokey face a variety of obstacles and challenges, using their wits and creativity to find solutions and save the day.
