Fat Albert and the gang stumble upon a discarded computer in the alley while on their way to the park. Curiosity gets the better of them and they decide to take it home to examine it further. The group initially struggles to figure out what to do with it until Rudy suggests they plug it in to see if it works. To everyone's surprise, the computer powers on and they're greeted with a prompt asking for a password.

After several attempts at guessing the password, the gang decides to try to find the owner of the computer to see if they can retrieve the password. They scour the advertising section of the newspaper and come across an ad for a lost computer. The gang contacts the owner, a local business owner, who's ecstatic to hear that they've found his computer.

When the owner arrives to collect his computer, he offers to pay Fat Albert and the gang for finding it. They refuse the payment, but accept the owner's offer to teach them how to use the computer. The owner shows them how to use basic word processing and email functions.

With their newfound knowledge, Fat Albert and the gang start brainstorming ways to use the computer to help their community. They come up with the idea of creating a community bulletin board where people can post announcements for yard sales, lost pets, and other community events. They pitch their idea to the local community center and they're given the green light to move ahead.

The gang spends the next couple of days setting up the bulletin board and spreading the word about their new service. The bulletin board quickly becomes a hit and the gang starts receiving a flood of requests for new postings.

However, their success is short-lived when they receive a message from someone claiming to be a hacker who's broken into their computer and demands money to stop them from deleting all of their files. The gang is devastated and worries that all of their hard work will be lost.

Just as they're about to give up hope, the owner of the computer offers to help. He shows them how to install basic security software and walks them through the steps to remove the hacker's virus. With the virus removed, Fat Albert and the gang celebrate their victory and vow to continue using their computer to help their community.

The episode ends with Fat Albert and the gang reflecting on all that they've learned about technology and how it can be used to bring people together. They also express their gratitude for the owner of the computer and his willingness to help them.

Overall, the episode is a lighthearted and enjoyable romp that teaches valuable lessons about the importance of technology in our lives. From the basics of computer security to the power of community, The Adventures of Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids continues to be a beloved classic that audiences of all ages can enjoy.
