The A-Team season 2 episode 12, titled "The White Ballot," follows the team as they get hired by a mayoral candidate named Dan Sorenson. He is running against the corrupt incumbent and asks the A-Team to ensure that the vote in a crucial district goes as planned. However, they soon discover that the incumbent has rigged the voting machines and will stop at nothing to retain his position.
The A-Team begins their mission by visiting the district and meeting with Sorenson's campaign manager, who shows them the many ways in which the voting machines have been tampered with. It quickly becomes clear to Hannibal, Face, B.A., and Murdock that they will have to take drastic measures to ensure a fair election.
They come up with a plan to infiltrate the incumbent's campaign headquarters and destroy the rigged voting machines. Face puts on his best acting skills and pretends to be a corrupt political operative looking to sell some valuable intel. He manages to get inside the building and scout out the location of the machines.
Meanwhile, B.A. and Murdock pose as deliverymen and plant explosives at strategic points within the building. Hannibal oversees the operation from a distance, calling the shots and ensuring that everything goes according to plan.
Their plan works perfectly, and the A-Team is able to destroy the rigged voting machines without being caught. However, they soon discover that the incumbent has a backup plan in the form of backup voting machines. Hannibal quickly comes up with a new plan and decides to sabotage the backup machines by replacing the computer chips with blank ones.
At the same time, Face is trying to convince an old flame of his, who works for the incumbent, to vote for Sorenson. He manages to win her over and gets her to vote for the challenger, a crucial vote that helps swing the election in Sorenson's favor.
The episode ends with Sorenson winning the election and thanking the A-Team for their help. He offers them a cash reward, but Hannibal turns it down, saying that they only did what was right. They walk off into the sunset, ready for their next adventure.
