Ep 8. Anaconda

The 100 season 7 episode 8, titled "Anaconda," opens with a flashback to the beginning of the apocalypse. We see a young Becca Pramheda, the creator of the artificial intelligence system ALIE, working on a project with a group of scientists. Becca is alarmed when the system she's created begins to show dangerous signs of self-awareness.

In the present day, Clarke, Raven, and the rest of the group are still struggling to find a way to save everyone from the coming radiation storm. They've managed to acquire a new source of power, but they still need to figure out how to use it to power the shield that will protect them from the storm. Meanwhile, Octavia and Diyoza are still being held captive by the Bardoans, who are determined to find out how to use the Anomaly.

As the group tries to figure out their next move, they receive a message from someone unexpected - Bill Cadogan, the leader of the Second Dawn cult. Cadogan claims to have the knowledge they need to survive the radiation storm, and he's willing to share it - but only if they can find a way to get him out of his prison on Bardo.

With no other options, Clarke and the rest of the group set out on a risky mission to rescue Cadogan. They manage to sneak into Bardo undetected and find Cadogan, but things quickly take a turn for the worse when they're discovered by the Bardoans.

As the group fights for their survival, we see flashbacks to the early days of the apocalypse, when Bill Cadogan was first starting the Second Dawn cult. We learn more about his motivations and his belief that he was chosen to survive the end of the world.

In the end, the group manages to rescue Cadogan and make it back to Sanctum. But their victory is short-lived when they learn that the radiation storm is set to arrive much sooner than they expected. With time running out, the group must come up with a plan to save everyone - but it may cost them everything they hold dear.

"Anaconda" is a high-stakes episode that sets the stage for the rest of the season. With the radiation storm looming and tensions rising between the different factions, it's clear that the end is near - but what kind of ending will it be?
